Summary
River has broken out of every prison she's stayed at, with or without help. It's only a matter of time until she breaks out of the Library, while the Doctor tries to distance herself from her Fam - and both stumble upon strange happenings as people start believing in Santa, again, but the wrong Santa. The Doctor would know, she and Claus have their Scrabble Sundays.
Of course, the Doctor's friends aren't as easily tricked, and immediately jump to action ... though, how come the TARDIS turned into a red phone box?

Summary
It starts, as it tends to, with Jack pushing his luck. Gives the Doctor a call, after the Daleks, after he’s stopped in on Gwen. Nineteen years he’d spent in that prison waiting for her, god knows he’s gonna stick around as long as possible.
OR
After Revolution of the Daleks, Jack joins the Doctor and Yaz onboard the Tardis. Five times Jack and the Doctor talked around things, and one time they didn't.

Summary
This generation was loomed with defects. Maybe his frankly mundane height is amongst those defects, or maybe it isn’t; maybe there’s something far greater wrong with him. Impurities in the biodata, Glospin says: that’s why you’re called Snail, runt. Well, he’s not the only one with defects. They say Koschei of the House of Oakdown was loomed without any psychic defences; having never met Koschei of the House of Oakdown but having exchanged polite letters with him, he’s proud to announce that he hasn’t a clue if it’s true. But, well, it could be worse; they say one child was loomed without legs, another without a brain. They burnt the useless corpses and forbade that genome sequence; or they didn’t. It’s all hearsay, after all.
But he’s never heard of anyone alive not having legs.
From a perspective of everything is canon, the Doctor’s childhood rapidly warps into a nightmare.
