“Oh my god,” Doyoung sighs out, his shoulders slumping and his eyes rolling. “That’s what he told you about me?”
Jungwoo nods, his teeth sinking into his bottom lip before it slips out of his grasp for another laugh, this time with his head leaning back as he does so. “Actually, I think he called you pouty too,” Jungwoo hums, his finger tapping against his chin, “something like that.”
“I can’t believe him,” Doyoung huffs, “out of all the things he could say about me he says-”
“I like it,” Jungwoo quickly says, interjecting Doyoung’s soft rant. “You can’t be too mad at him,” he adds, “I came, didn’t I?”

“I’ll keep you safe,” Doyoung says to break the silence and he can see the way Jungwoo’s brows furrow in confusion due to the sudden statement. “So don’t,” he pauses for a brief moment, “worry about finding an alpha right away.”
Jungwoo’s fingers press into Doyoung’s arm and his hand tightens around it. His cheeks turn a darker shade of pink and he averts his eyes, breaking the contact they had. “You always have,” Jungwoo replies with a gentle laugh. “You’ve been my alpha since before you were an alpha.” Then Jungwoo’s gaze returns to Doyoung’s and their eyes lock together. He sucks in a breath, one that’s deep and long before he lets it out with the rest of his words. “Wouldn’t it be so much easier if we got together?”
