Summary
I just… I can’t let go of this major oversight in the ‘tension’ of the group. Andre gives Marie shit in the first episode and Jordan has this constant ‘she left me behind’ bullshit that irks me knowing how their story starts. I decided to give Marie a voice about it.

Jordan started to feel self-loathing build up.
Their DNA had done this.
Their genetics and mutation had put this being inside her. Had helped create an abomination that should not have been made.
They couldn’t be angry at the baby. It didn’t know what it was doing.
Just like Marie hadn’t.
When she killed her own parents as her powers were born.
And now they had created a being that killed her in return.
All the love they had for Marie.
All the care they put into the last several years of their life, the last year of nurturing both of them… gone.
All to be rinsed away on the floor and down the drain when the doctors decided there was nothing left to do and walked away.

Summary
We are just going to pretend that WAY more time happened between episodes. That we didn’t crash from one ‘holy shit’ moment to the next. I want to believe this fits [mostly] into cannon, but also is extra scenes to go with the fact we got NOWHERE near enough LiMoreau adorableness, relationship and sexiness fun. It also means that the last few episodes of S2 wouldn’t fit in this world, but fuck it.
So… thinking caps thrown away and critical thinking shut off. This is post Cipher-forced battle but also as if there were months between deciding to go rescue Cate and actually planning how to take action (oh, and they are far less foolish in not using more of the supes who had already shown loyalty and willingness for rebellion).

“First, I ravish you,” Ilya murmurs, his lips brushing Shane’s bruised ribs, sending goosebumps rippling across his skin. “Apologize for injury I gave.”
Shane’s breath hitches as Ilya’s hand slides down his body toward his ass. He can barely breathe when that rough fingertip brushes his hole, and it’s not because of the bruised ribs.
“And then?” he asks, voice breathless.
Ilya looks up, eyes dark and heavy with desire. He presses one final kiss to the marred skin before digging his fingers deeper into Shane’s skin, making him gasp.
“And then, I give you new bruises. Better ones to remind you of me.”
or; Ilya feels bad for being rough with Shane on ice… Shane, on the other hand, is kinda into it.

Summary
Since Shane’s Calvin Klein campaign dropped, it somehow escaped the hockey bubble entirely and spilled into the general public. There are countless TikToks now—not even from hockey fans, just regular people—posting about his husband in tight white briefs that leave very little to the imagination. Every sports show seems obligated to mention Shane Hollander’s Calvin Klein campaign. It’s inescapable in a way neither of them had expected.
At first, Ilya thought it was fun. He was glad the world finally saw his husband as the sexy, talented man he’d always known him to be. He liked interacting with fan posts and edits, even sending them to Shane just to watch the way his face would immediately redden.
But now, the public reaction is a little… much.
or; Shane’s Calvin Klein campaign goes viral, not only in the hockey sphere, but all over the internet. Ilya tries (and fails) to not show his jealousy.
