Summary
Their rocky relationship was never meant to be stable, but somehow, they found a way to make it work. And it works; when Legundo works himself into a frenzy, Owen becomes stubbornly persistent, caring in a way you’d never expect. Owen had grown as a person since those years back in Oakhurst, a time that had brought out the worst in everyone. It was different now, living with a silence that was comfortable, a silence that Legundo could share.

Summary
Legs and Owen came to an agreement that once a week Owen gets to drink Legundo's blood, in exchange he has to answer three of the doctor's questions about vampires to the best of his abilities, in the name of research, of course.
How unfortunate that on one occasion, one wrong and seemingly not so bad request leads their relationship in a way that neither expected, but both deeply longed for.
Aka Legs asks Owen to show off his bat form after the vampire already took a chunk of his blood. That, as well as the lingering homosexual energy leads them to a make out session.

“You have been coughing an awful lot tonight. Don't tell me you're dying on me, little hunter?”
The vampire gives him a final lick before he lets him answer, satisfied with his meal. It takes him a moment to realize Avid didn't respond with anything. Scott notices he isn't looking at him as he rises, instead having turned his head to the side. He releases his arms from the grip, the hunter barely moving, as he studies him.
"Oh, my…” “Really? That's so sad.”
Scott gives him a charming smile. “Are you sure you don't want to give being a vampire a chance, dear?"
Or... When Avid goes to meet Shelby at the obelisk, they are interrupted by a surprise guest.
