An unapologetically feminist tale…
This story was inspired by the prompt given by FriendsofFanfiction – “The Last Austen Heroine”, asking us to focus on Charlotte rather than the men in her life. As I hadn’t even started it before the deadline, I thought I’d post it myself (plus it’s got 3 chapters). Thank you so much to FriendsofFanfiction for the idea.
A word of warning – this is a Sidlotte story in its soul but I’m afraid Sidney doesn’t come back from the dead in this one. I have no idea why I wanted to write this as it’s a bit gloomy and emotional (sorry!). I think it’s a reaction to my feeling that Season 2 really did not honour Sidney and Charlotte’s love or do justice to Charlotte’s character. If Season 2 had to be made and Sidney had to be taken out of the picture (debatable), I would have liked to see her remain single for much longer before eventually meeting a man who would treat her with respect and care for her (maybe even put a smile on her face!), as she deserves. -

What if... there is an Imposter?Please remember - this is only a story. And it's only a bit of fun! If you really loved Season 2 and are fully on board with the whole Heybourne thing and think Sidney is the worst thing since sliced bread, then you probably won't like this story.
This isn't an attempt to trash Season 2, which had its merits (in places), merely an attempt to set the (Austen) world to rights.
A fix-it fic which may end up being slightly ridiculous. But then isn't all fiction slightly ridiculous?
By the way, the new Season 2 characters only have cameo appearances in this story and I am quite nice to them. Sort of.

Hello friends. Quick question: What would you do if Eliza asked you to be her companion?
This is a shorter (we think) regency Sidlotte tale that puts our favorite twosome in a rather different and difficult situation—and hopefully some fun too 😊. HEA is always guaranteed but I imagine this one might be a tough read (see spoiler below). As always, if this account has already been written, I apologize as I have yet to read all the other fantastic stories!
Spoiler of note: there will be some challenging moral choices here that may be difficult to accept depending on your personal code and suspension of disbelief but I wanted to try and Butter recommended we give it a go. And you know I can’t deny her anything! 🐕🐾🧡
