Summary
Jenni’s world crumbles – her relationship ends, her football is a mess, and her trademark smile is missing more days than not. She’s deeply unhappy and a late-night call with Christen Press leaves her with advice she decides to take: remove herself from the environment making her unhappy; find a league that eliminates the pressure and leaves space for her to fall back in love with the game; and prioritize herself for once.
Jenni moves to Mexico, joins the Liga MX Femenil league, and decides to go after the dream on her bucket list that has been put off for years: become a mother. And nobody is more surprised than Alexia Putellas when Jenni turns up at the 2023 World Cup with a baby in her arms.

Summary
I know there are a lot of fics about how Ona and Lucy got together but I've been headcannoning this for a while and wanted to get it out of me onto a page, so thought I might as well share it.
It's a story of finding yourself and finding your person, how the universe just makes things fall into place sometimes.
If you notice there are mixed tenses, well no you didn't. There's some spanish in here but it might not be totally accurate so that didn't happen either.
