Summary
"Would you fuck me?" Buck asked so suddenly that Eddie nearly choked on his coffee. Chimney, who was walking up to join them in their little rec room area turned on his heel and stumbled down the stairs in an effort to avoid this upcoming conversation. Eddie couldn’t even blame him for running away. This was a lot, even for Buck.
"What?"
Not deterred in the slightest by Eddie’s obvious shock, Buck said, “Not to sound vain or anything, but I work hard to keep my ass in shape. And yet, nobody seems to care.”
(Or, the one where Buck wants to fulfil a certain fantasy and Eddie is more than happy to lend him a helping dick)

Summary
Nothing really changes after Eddie rescues himself from a well. The terror and intense sorrow Buck felt while Eddie was gone—presumed by most to be dead—could have been a wakeup call to the fact that his feelings for the older man were less brotherly and more love-of-his-life. But Buck hadn’t needed a near-death experience to recognize how deeply in love he was with Eddie.
So Eddie being practically declared dead only to show up relatively unharmed didn’t change anything for Buck.
It took some time and a face from his past before Buck realized it had changed something for Eddie.Bookmarked by AloneAndPerfect

Summary
“You ok superman?”
“The… the waves are getting quite close.” Chris said, voice quiet, not wanting the other children to overhear. His hand remained fisted in the white fabric.
Buck swallowed heavily, nodding. “Do you remember learning about the tide?”
“How the moon pulls at the ocean?”
“Yeah, just like that. Well the tide comes in land twice a day, and it goes out twice a day. This is the second high tide.”
“So… this is normal?”
Buck nodded again, “Very normal.”
Chris hummed, fist loosening. “Promise?”
Buck smiled, offering his pinky finger wordlessly. Chris hooked his own around it, standing taller.
“It’s not that I was scared,” Chris said, “I know you’d save me again. I just - I thought I’d check.”
He turned around, walking away before Buck could argue that he hadn’t saved him last time. Eddie’s gaze burned into his cheek.

Summary
"He’d kissed Eddie slow and soft when the house was quiet, whispered something stupid that made Eddie laugh until he had to muffle it against Buck’s shoulder. They'd gone to bed together, woken up to golden light slicing through the blinds, with Buck's body wrapped around his, and Eddie's nose tickled by soft, honey colored curls."
Or, Eddie thought keeping their new relationship a secret was the smart move...just until he and Buck figured it out. But it’s a lot harder to stay quiet when everyone keeps trying to set Buck up and strangers won’t stop flirting with him.

Summary
"So, my school is doing a presentation thing for Mother's Day. With dancing and cards and stuff. I was voted to make the starting and ending speech," he smiled shyly, still not looking at Buck.
"Wow, that must be special. How do you feel about it?" he asked, hoping against hope it's the right thing to say.
"It's good that they chose me. But it feels a bit weird, since my mom isn't going to be there to see it," he grimaced, and Buck was glad the kid wasn't looking, because he's sure his sad expression wouldn't be easily hidden. What to say to this boy who's experienced such loss at this young age?
"I'm sure she'll be watching, from wherever she is," he answered, and Chris nodded.
"I know, I know. But that's not my point," he gestured, suddenly agitated, then looked at Buck. "It feels unfair to have Dad go, since he gets all the Family Day and Father's Day cards and gifts and everything. So I want to know if you'd go. You know, to be my mom."

“But the station isn’t cursed or haunted Buck.” Eddie fondly rolls his eyes.
“Maybe it is and none of us know it!”
“I don’t think that’s how it works sweetheart.” He says with exasperation. He doesn’t realize what’s said until he sees the pink blush dusting Buck’s cheeks.
God, he’s cute.
Oh god, he called him sweetheart.
Out loud.
In front of Hen.
And Chimney.
So everyone is going to know about this by tomorrow.
At least he didn’t call him baby again.

Summary
“Who’s this?” asks the stranger. The audacity. Eddie should be the one asking that.
“Oh, uh,” Buck swallows. “This is Eddie, and Chris,”
“This is Eddie…” the stranger doesn’t sound pleased.
“And Chris,” Eddie adds. “And you are?”
“Edward,” Buck says. “My, my date.”
Eddie’s stomach sinks.
“I told you this shouldn’t have been a surprise.” Chris says, slightly embarrassed.
No. Absolutely not. Eddie hasn’t gone through a gut wrenching month of trying to figure out his life—his sexuality—only for the love of his life to be on a date as soon as things start to get better. He’s moved across states twice in the same goddamn month just to keep the two halves of his heart close, for god’s sake. He might not financially recover from this, but he refuses to take an emotional hit at the same level. Besides, what kind of name is Edward?

Summary
“I’ll be right back,” Eddie says, as his eyes snap to something over Buck’s shoulder. “Stay here with Chris.”
Eddie presses a firm kiss to Buck's lips before ducking off into the crowd, and Buck watches him go with a dazed look on his face.
“You guys are kissing now?” Chris asks curiously. “I didn’t think he’d told you yet.”
That drags Buck back to reality.
“Huh?” he says. “Told me what?”
Chris raises an eyebrow. “Dad’s told you how he feels, right?”
“It’s just been the kissing actually,” Buck admits, still a little out of it. “I don’t think he’s fully aware he’s doing it?”
