Her reflection stared back at her, just as cold, just as unfeeling. But there was a flicker—barely perceptible—deep within her own eyes. A flicker of something she had tried so hard to suppress. Vulnerability. Fear. The part of her that had once looked to Focalors for guidance, for reassurance, but had been abandoned in the end.
“You can hide all you want,” Furina whispered, her voice trembling now, though she would never admit it. “But I won’t be your puppet. I will be my own person. I will be the one to carry Fontaine forward, with or without you.”
She took one last long look at the mirror, her chest tightening as she wrestled with the emotions threatening to overwhelm her. Furina’s lips parted as if she were about to speak again, but she stopped herself. She had nothing more to say. No more words that would change anything.
With one last, lingering glance at the glass, Furina turned away, her footsteps heavy as she moved toward the door. But just before she reached it, she stopped and glanced back one final time, her gaze lingering on her reflection.

Summary
Zhongli’s eyes widened, instinctively stepping out of the way as something darted past him. The odd entity carried the scent of rainfall, its body lightly glowing like an illuminated sea. The streets of Liyue Harbor were filled with panicked cries.
No one could gain a better view as the thing leaped into the water, vanishing upon impact. Zhongli approached, peering down upon the water’s surface. There wasn’t even a trace of that creature being there in the first place.
“... What was that?”

In which Childe isn’t completely human, is nearly 200 years old, could probably become an archon if he wanted, is a “part-time” Harbinger, and eventually ends up moving in with Zhongli.
Meanwhile, Zhongli has never seen a being quite like Childe in all of his years of living. Childe is left wondering why the Geo Archon looks at him like he’s the most interesting thing in the world.

Summary
Everything's done and over. Now, Zhongli only needs to adjust to living like an ordinary mortal. Or that is what he thinks until a familiar face shows up in Liyue. Teucer comes looking for his brother who failed to return to Snezhnaya on the Fatui ships. And as Childe's declared "friend", Zhongli must help Teucer find him.
Or: Teucer drags Zhongli on a cross-country goose chase looking for Childe. Zhongli just happens to find a bit more along the way.

As far as you were concerned being reincarnated as Il Dottore of the Fatui Harbingers wasn't the worst thing to happen, it was reincarnating into a game whose story line you haven't finished. Even if you're information is incomplete, you were definitely sure that Tartaglia had no business being this clingy towards you.
