Summary
Jason grew up in Crime Alley. Of course he was aware of the meta trafficking rings and what happened to the kids who displayed powers but it was just another shitty thing about Gotham. He hated it, sure but he tended to not think about it too much. However when he woke up that morning it was the only thing he could think of.
He had grown wings. He didn’t want to have wings. There was no way for him to keep the wings hidden. There was only one thing he could do.
Feathers fell to the floor stained red by his blood.
Jason couldn't help but wonder if he really made the right choice.
It was too late anyway. He couldn't go back.Or : What if Jason was a winged meta? How would he react to it? How differently would the Lazarus Pits work for him? How much would this change the way people interact with him? Let’s find out!

Summary
Jason never thought he would get a second chance, never thought he would be able to get back the wings he lost so long ago. He often wondered what would happen if he did get them back but he never believed it to be possible.
And yet here he was. He had been brought back to life and the wings he lost as a child had been brought back with him. He would finally be able to know what flying felt like.There was only one problem, the wings were the same as when he lost them. They did not get to grow up with him. He had gotten so much bigger. Could they really carry him up into the sky?

While it isn't terribly ideal to drag an Ancient One through the void, stuff it into the Archive, and use the cosmic "blend" setting on high, Jon's got no other choice if he wants to exist again after leaving his old reality.
Another round at predictable events with more time to prepare and more abilities to utilize should mean keeping everyone safe is a piece of cake, but it's more of a chaotic donut with unexpected filling than anything else.
Or, The Fanfic Equivalent of A Large Flailing Inflatable. It's bigger than it has any right to be, weirdly fun to watch unfold, and it goes exactly where you'd expect while hitting other places you had no idea were even an option.
