    Bookmarker's Notes

there were so many moments in this story where I expected something to go exactly as the tropes go, and kept reading and reading and reading to discover the beautiful and unique story that laid in wait instead. always on my toes, always deeply in love with every single character. every thing and every one of the events and people in this work feel so incredibly human and real. I can see the tattoo shop, the pub, the school, the center, the apartment complex. I can see Mrs. E, Treseli, Demetrius, Evan....all of these OCs I did not expect to love, eager as I was for another copy-paste drarry romance. When there were scenes with Harry, I was excited to see what adventures Draco would get up to in New York, and when he was working at the shop or at the center or apparating around town, I looked forward to the dreams and the visits. all these choices, all the inner thoughts, hidden and apparent. the humor of the inner voice, the tragedy of events, the joy of all his connections, the conviction of his education and journey.... a masterpiece. I will read this again and again.

Simply profound, concise and expansive; this is a master class of writing, character study, interpersonal relationships, world building, conflict, childhood, coming of age, student life, and love.

    Summary

A process is recursive when it defines or contains itself; e.g., the Fibonacci sequence, which determines the next number as the sum of the previous two.

But not all recursive processes are mathematical. Recursion can happen in a temporal context when, for instance, the powerful magical force that is true love drags you back in time so it can create itself, endangering the fate of the Wizarding World—not to mention the very fabric of space and time—along the way.

we are feeling big things for the deity of mystery and doubt tonight. "I'm in the dark holding your hand" "escape. the windows open just a bit. embracing doubt allowed you to escape something that was truly not good for you" Cassandra. I love you.
