Killer stood, alone, in the empty hall that made up Nightmare’s throne room. Horror and Dust, as useful as they’d always been to him, he hadn’t summoned. Nightmare would need to, sometime, but this… he had reasoned to himself that this, perhaps, was something done better with just the two of them, face to face. More personal. So Killer stood in the grand hall, hands shoved into the pockets of his jacket, his near-perpetual smile unfailing.

"They never treated us properly," the corrupted murmured instead, voice smooth. "I want to show you what we were robbed of."
"I don’t—" Nightmare’s breath hitched as a tendril traced higher, brushing the inside of his thigh, testing. "I don’t understand," he managed at last, the words thin and unsteady as they left him.
"Of course you don’t," he said softly. His serpentine eye glittered as it caught the light, the same hue as the black apple’s glow. That familiar, poisonous luminescence.

“It won’t last,” Nightmare said after a moment.
Lune’s posture shifted almost imperceptibly. He couldn't help the way his sockets widened.
“The petrification,” he clarified. “It didn’t last with Dream. And he only had one apple.”
The cigarette slid from his fingers and fell to the floor, forgotten. It burned quietly where it landed.
Dread pooled instantly in Lune’s chest, thick and suffocating. The thought of those wings cracking free, of that halo flaring back to life, made something inside him recoil.
But beneath it, quiet and traitorous, was relief.

Now, she's stuck in the Undertale multiverse with nothing but her AU knowledge, a deeply unserious System guide named Selene, and the terrifying realization that her beloved skeletons don't blush on first meeting.
They try to murder her.
Armed with terrible skeleton puns, niche references, and a soul that might be powered by sheer cringe, her new mission is clear: befriend the murderous skeletons, grind enough EXP to not die (again), and somehow stop the multiverse from collapsing-all while convincing a glitchy skeleton that she's not the weirdest thing he's seen today. (She is.)
It's a self-insert isekai where the only thing stronger than Determination is a fangirl's ability to ignore red flags.
