A week has passed. A week of spending time with and getting to know Dream. Of slowly developing feelings for him.
A week has passed. And when Techno wakes up on the seventh day, he can immediately tell something on the air has shifted.
He and Phil stand in the middle of the village and find it empty and hauntly quiet.
A large black cloud stretches over the sky and from the peak of the mountain, a swirling beam of light shoots up into the sky.
"Well that's not promisin'," Techno hums, grip tight on the sword at his side.
"Certainly not what I was expecting," Phil agrees.
"Let's go save the world again I guess."
Or, Techno and Phil are immortal and dumbasses in love. Meanwhile, Dream is hot and badass and the only one with a single braincell.

Summary
Dream is deteriorating, or returning to his first form-which is causing his body to turn into dust. It not easy being Life’s doll, plaything, puppet. Lately Life made it very clear that whatever task he had before, he failed. Oh and two very handsome, and very married to each other men are there when he wakes up fresh and new, he recognizes them and is immediately in love with the two hybrids. Those two hybrids though are a wreck.
Or, Dream reverts to his old self and falls in love with the married couple, Techno and Phil (again) and has to learn about his past all over again.
