Summary
Lan Wangji arrives at Nevernight Manor expecting a quick exorcism, but his host is startlingly uncooperative. There's seemingly no ghost or monster to be found -- whatever Wen Ruohan's elderly stepmother says -- but he's subjected to nightly parties and jazz music.
