“No,” George begins through soft kisses. “I wanna lay here and cuddle, Dream.”
He can feel as George begins sucking a gentle hickey into his neck, and has to reach up to place his hand in his hair and gently tug.
“George,” Dream breathes out, and he can feel George’s lips curling into a smile as he halts his sucking. “I don’t wanna meet people with a mark on my neck.”
“L,” George says as he pulls back from Dream’s neck, grinning at him. “You hate me. Just say it.”
Dream, never able to joke with George about this, can’t help but argue back. “No, I love you.”
Or, Dream and George spend a soft morning together in Los Angeles.

“Are you cold?” Dream asks, ready to wrap the blanket around him.
“No,” he answers. “Touch me anyway.”
Dream laughs from the bottom of his stomach. “I will,” he looks at him, and thinks that he falls in love more, if it’s even possible. He pulls him closer and wraps his arms around his back. “Sweetheart.”
George shoots a look at him. “Sweetheart?”
“You are,” Dream strokes his bare knee, makes his lip curl towards his cheekbones. His heart tightens his chest. “My sweetheart.”
Dream, George, and a boundless love that grows within them.

However, things get a whole lot more complicated when someone going by the name Flux walks into town and suddenly it isn't just small bank robberies that Dream has to deal with. But at least his cute friend is a calm in the middle of the storm. And things will work out in the end like they always do for the young super hero. Right?

And thus, setbacks began to take over. With George officially crowned as the new king, he takes on the heavy responsibilities along with the citizen’s doubt, his lack of knowledge when it comes to leading, his tendency to fool around, and Knight Dream’s unsubtle actions of annoyance towards him on his shoulders. Oh, and the undeniable attraction towards a certain someone that he was refusing to entertain.

George plops himself down on the couch beside Dream to fully face him, bending his left leg onto the couch so that his calf is fully pressed against Dream’s thigh. George rests his elbow on the back of the couch and rests his head against his knuckles. “I still can’t believe I’m watching you drink alcohol right now. This should be, like, illegal.”
Dream smiles, adjusting himself to face George better, a slightly harder task because of his stupid eyepatch he still needs to wear. “I know, I can’t believe it either. It’s like you got here and then started being a bad influence on me, George."
George gapes at him, but fails at even attempting to be serious. He feels like he’s floating – how could he be sitting next to Dream right now? It feels like a dream, pun intended. But it’s real and he’s talking to the man he’s known through a computer screen for seven years and he’s so pretty and he can’t believe he’s been hiding those doe eyes behind a screen for so long.
Dream and George on the night of their friend group's last Twitchcon party, and the morning after.

Summary
Dream often had nights where sleep didn’t come easily, but he hadn’t had a sleepless night this bad in a long time. It didn’t take long for the constant tossing and turning to wake up George, who was unsurprisingly not very pleased.
George’s annoyance slowly faded upon realizing that Dream was just as frustrated with his inability to sleep as he was. So he sighed, pulled Dream close, and tried something new to help him out.
