The ground swayed under her feet, and Lydia staggered forward into the darkness. Exhaustion settled in like a heavy pressure inside her head and chest. It was getting difficult to think. How didn't she anticipate this? How could they get so comfortable as to act as if all of their problems had been solved?
"That is a Sandworm, and they eat ghosts."
But she wasn't a mere ghost, after all. No creature could easily extinguish a demon.

It had all started with a simple idea: a family movie night. To celebrate the beginning of October, Beetlejuice and Lydia managed to convince the adults to have a horror movie marathon, so they could "emotionally prepare" everyone for their incoming plans for Halloween.
It had been a fun night, in the end. And everything had been normal, up until they got to the movie "The Exorcist".
