Summary
Despite being his best friend, roommate, and business partner, there was surprisingly little that Cheng Xiaoshi really knew about Lu Guang.
His roommate rarely shared anything about his past life. In fact, to-date, all that Cheng Xiaoshi had been able to pry out of him was that he was:
1. An only child
2. Allergic to bananasCheng Xiaoshi was still unsure if that second one was an actual allergy, or just one of those things Lu Guang said because he didn’t enjoy the fruit's texture.
He was unsure about a lot of things about Lu Guang. It frustrated him.
The younger boy was decidedly a closed book. Conversations about their childhoods always circled back to Cheng Xiaoshi, so did ones about their parents, friends, and dating lives before they met each other. Cheng Xiaoshi had been able to shrug it off before, but the longer they knew each other the more it felt like Lu Guang was keeping secrets.
He seemed particularly nervous about the topic of romance.

Alternate timeline where Lu Guang had to go to Cheng Xiaoshi's childhood to save him, but a small mistake causes Cheng Xiaoshi to gradually find out what Lu Guang has been doing all along. Confrontations and confessions ensue, featuring Qiao Ling and Cheng Xiaoshi sibling bonding lmao.
You know those angsty reveal fics of around 10,000 words which are just... so tasty? Well I needed more of that so I made one myself muhahahaha

“I can’t lose you!” Cheng Xiaoshi gasped, and Lu Guang felt it in his own lungs, ripping the air from them. Ripping the conviction from his voice. “I couldn’t lose you.”Or, Cheng Xiaoshi jumps into a photo Lu Guang took and feels everything Lu Guang is feeling, including all of the trauma from losing his best friend and redoing the timeline to save him.
