Summary
Just after his eleventh birthday, Sam Winchester received a letter dropped off by an owl of all things. Dean Winchester knew two things: First, their dad would absolutely kill a wizard, even if he was family, and second, this Ilvermorny place was not far enough away from their father by any stretch of the imagination.
Harry Potter chose a very important train compartment on his first ride to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. There was a small boy sitting alone in the compartment reading, and this boy had on his person three knives and a bottle of holy water. Harry Potter had found his people.
Severus Snape thought he must be extremely unlucky to be the only faculty member at the school who had a muggle landline phone at his summer residence…unlucky, but also so very thankful. Because after countless shocking, concerning, and frankly bizarre calls from one of his students’ guardians each summer, a Dean Winchester, well, Severus’s life was taking on a completely new and welcome direction.

But with the bloodwards transferred from his relatives’ home significantly weaker, it hasn’t been quite the fairytale ending he’d hoped for, and now there’s trouble brewing at Hogwarts too. Harry must navigate both paths simultaneously, but the darker forces at play soon find him questioning who he can really trust.
