“House?” He calls groggily.
House just grunts in response, scaring away whatever lethargy Wilson was still under.
Wilson turns towards him, noticing that his boyfriend is rubbing his right thigh. “House,” he repeats, “you okay?”
“Just peachy.” House grits out.
“What happened?” He asks softly, running his hands over House’s leg and feeling for irregularities. He doesn’t find any.
House glares at him for a moment before answering. “Woke up like this.”

But breakfast is as lovely as the day is, and Izzy has a smile flirting with the corner of his mouth when Stede tells him how perfectly done the omelette is, and he only tilts his head and sighs the once with obviously showy annoyance rather than stabbing at Stede with his knife when Stede gets indulgent and rambles at him, saying, “I like your hair like this, y’know. Wonderfully messy! You’re always so put together, aren’t you? Efficient, precise. Perfectly rigid! Oh, I’m so glad you’re letting me have you like this today.”
“Don’t make me regret it,” Izzy drawls.
Stede lifts his brows at him, quirks his smile to be distinctly patronizing. “As if you aren’t enjoying the blue balls immensely, sweetheart.”
A huff of a disbelieving laugh. Izzy rubs his hand over his face. Slumps lower in his chair with his legs all kicked out, ankle knocking into Stede’s, rattling there a moment before settling. He says only, “Christ.”
Stede twirls his fork in the air merrily.
