Connor knew putting off stasis for five days wasn't ideal, but he had to solve this case. The captain was counting on him, and if he didn't figure it out soon, more people were going to die. He couldn't afford to fail. He knew that, but he was running on nearly empty, and it was becoming hard to do much of anything. If only his body would stop trying to force him into stasis, maybe then it wouldn't be so difficult.

Izuku knew one thing as Aizawa passed out the internship offers to each of them, that he wanted to be as far away from Kacchan as possible, as far as he could get. The farthest place he could get was Fukuoka City, approximately over twelve hours away by car, his only hope was that an internship from the hero that resided there was offered. The hero’s agency was located in Kyushu, the quickest way to get there was to catch a flight from Shizuoka to Fukuoka and catch the train from Fukuoka to Kyushu.
A smile lights his features when he finds it, when the internship offer form is presented, twenty-five pages in, and he pulls it to the front. Filling out his information, without a second thought, he doesn’t need to look through the rest of them.
Sure, interning with a man who spent ninety-five percent of his work in the air was going to be a setback, but the distance he wanted was worth it. He’d make it work.

Turning to hide his face in his chest as a sob finally breaks free from his chest, arms curl around him carefully, a hand around the back of his head tenderly. Weakly he curls his arms around the large figure of his father, bandaged fingers curling tightly in the back of the shirt he’s wearing, as his family, the only real people he’s ever had at his back, gathers around.
