For this prompt, requesting kneeling and handfeeding.
They'd had weeks of not seeing Clint, or hearing from him. No word other than SHIELD's standard sounds-like-information run-around, and then, with no word, Clint just reappeared, showing up at the tower wired and exhausted. Too strung out on stale adrenaline and lack of sleep to actually go to sleep, oscillating between bristling and snapping and strained attempts to joke and banter, until Steve had realized what was going on and had wrestled him down.

Two days after Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes move into his building, Clint gets sent overseas on assignment. When he gets back his apartment is clean, the heating’s working right and his second-tiniest tenant is passing Math. Even his coffee tastes better.
Bucky just shrugs and says, “Steve happened.”

It started in the morning meeting for next year’s budget allocation for strike teams. The numbers on the page in front him grew a little more distant, a little shinier around the edges. He blinked, but it stayed, the letters seeming to shrink. By the time Dinesh got to his favorite hobby horse of Delta’s R&D costs, the shimmer started, low in his right eye, a minor distortion; Phil would have to wait to see how bad this one was going to be. There was no rhyme nor reason to why some migraines fizzled out and others knocked him on his ass.
Not that it mattered anyway; he had too much on his calendar to let a little thing like his head being drilled and flayed open to stop him from getting it done.

Summary
What started as a 10-20 chapter outline has become over 200 chapters worth of content, and no one is surprised, haha!
This series starts out with the Asset escaping HYDRA's clutches in 2012 during the Chitauri attack on New York, includes his murder revenge tour against HYDRA across the country, his eventual capture and rehabilitation by the Avengers, and many adventures in therapy and recovery beyond that. Plus, Winterhawk (that's Clint/Bucky) slow burn that lasts hundreds of chapters as they circle each other and fall in love. Observe as villains die brutally on the page and civilians and bystanders occasionally become close friends of the cast and cast members themselves.
There's some HYDRA Trash Party tropes in here that can get pretty dark, but everything should be tagged appropriately per chapter in the end notes. And since it's a revenge tour + recovery journey, most of the HYDRA Trash Party stuff is either referenced only or is firmly in the past. We're moving forward (slowly) not backward, here. ^_^
