Luke’s eyes widen before he tries to push Percy off, “what are you, a lunatic, get off man!” Luke catches a flash of light reflecting off something. After a second glance he starts struggling more, having realised what it was.
Percy moves the dagger into full view, showing it off like some kind of prize, “I stole it from the armory, aren’t you proud of how much I’ve learned from you Hermes kids.”

‘I need to stop this’ is what briefly flashed through Percy’s mind as he accepted yet another kiss from Luke. This kept happening, him finding himself beneath Luke as they frantically kissed, as though this would be their last days alive (it might as well have been).

Day 1: Pirate/Mermaid au
Percy continues his struggle until he breaks the water’s surface.
“—ed for weeks, just imagine how big a haul we g—“ the voice pauses abruptly, seemingly catching sight of Percy. Percy however, was trying to catch his breath. The thick air was burning his gills, along with whatever this material he’s stuck in has done to him. It’s certainly doesn’t help that the light of the sky is right in his face, what with the weather clearing.
“Holy shit,” a new voice mutters, “pretty… erm, I mean, that sure is a nice catch… shit that’s worse.” The last part is muttered for no one to hear. Percy continues his struggle against the mysterious bonds holding him captive in the air, the atmosphere feels like it’s suffocating him.
Or: Percy is exploring when he gets caught in a pirate’s fishing net and Luke, the ship’s captain, decides to keep him

“First time here?” The girl said, taking a sip of her drink.
Percy blinked.
“There’s hot chocolate on the stove.” She continued, waving a nonchalant hand in the direction of a small kitchenette, “You may as well get settled. This usually takes a while.”
The girl – who Percy could now see had messy black hair and piercing emerald-green eyes – then sank into a large armchair and pulled out a book.
Percy blinked again.
“Are you dead?”
The girl paused.
“Hmm. I think so.” She said, “Though sometimes it’s hard to tell.”
“Am I dead?” Percy then asked, idly wondering if this was all just a very strange dream.
“Most likely. Though if you’re here instead of whichever afterlife you’d usually go to, then you’re probably not dead-dead. Just… mostly dead.”

He’d killed thousands of monsters already in his life. He could kill a thousand more.
“If… If I do this, I’ll get to be with him again? He’ll be alive?” Percy’s voice was a whisper.
“Once you complete your duty, he will live again.”
Percy looked away from her and down at the man in his arms. Jason wouldn’t have been here if it wasn’t for him. Jason wouldn’t have run away from their duties on his own. He wouldn’t have gotten into a life of crime. He wouldn’t have had a gun to threaten those guys with. He wouldn’t have had to save Percy. If it weren’t for him, Jason wouldn’t be dead.
Percy swallowed thickly and looked up at the woman- the gruesome death spirit standing before him.
“I agree.”

When Jason dies saving him, Percy agrees to kill 1000 evil men in order to bring him back. It is not easy.
