   Summary

   Viktor and Jayce survived the explosion of the arcane with a miracle. Viktor was taken and sentenced to jail but due to Heimerdinger and Jayce say in the matter he ends up being given the same grace Jayce was given when they met. He was sentenced to be taken care of by Jayce and the council's security to make sure he didn’t do anything irrational.

   Heimerdinger needed a few equations approved by a secondary eye so he gave Viktor the work. After trying endlessly for hours Viktor gives up and impulsively drinking a half-bottle worth of hard liquor and Jayce finds him in such a distressed state. Alcohol brings out some of the most honest truths so what will happen after Jayce follows Viktor’s lead and drinks the other half of his bottle and they sit in the same room together with dim lighting.
