Summary
In Chapter 1891 of Proud Immortal Demon Way, in his classic bullshit writing fashion, the author Airplane casually revealed that the story's scum villain Shen Qingqiu had been suffering from a chronic illness since he was young. Since Shen Qingqiu, by that point in the story, was dead, this detail was, frankly, of no real interest to most PIDW's readers.
Except for one particular reader, who happened to transmigrate into said scum villain's disciple shortly after.

He got like that sometimes—demanding reassurance from Shen Yuan, as if Shen Yuan would ever want to be apart again. It was cute, and Shen Yuan was always more than happy to oblige. Shen Jiu wasn’t the only one still recovering from their years of separation, after all. Perhaps this time he’d gotten it in his head that Shen Yuan would fall in love with someone and leave him alone. Well, that would never happen.
He smiled. “You, of course.”
Shen Yuan and Shen Jiu are twins who were separated by tragedy years ago. Now that they’ve been reunited, nothing will ever separate them again. After all, how could they take each other for granted after so much time apart? That’s just brotherly love.

Alternatively: Take Shen Yuan from Correcting Deviations and Temporary Misalignment, drop him into a new body in a world where a different Shen Qingqiu already exists—one who remembers the Original Goods—and watch whether Shen Yuan swims or sinks.
