The North is home to many creatures, monsters, horrors that belong in tall tales. The South is unaware of the North's true nature, and it is kept a secret for a reason. The old gods have a much stronger presence and they hold more power in the North's frosty lands, than the South is led to believe.
Wolves larger than warhorses with the ability to command winter that howl in the moonlight, figures cloaked in shadows that steal you in the middle of the night to drain you dry of your lifeblood, giant men who's roars shake the mountains, sirens who will trap you in their spells and steal your treasures, wispy silhouettes who lead you to your death should you enter their lands, demon bears who will rip you to shreds should you explore the trees at night, grey-skinned men who can steal your souls with a single touch, and towering, skeletal figures with unsettling disjointed limbs that will steal your flesh to wear as their own
That is the truth of the North, and should the South ever discover any of it, may the old gods and the new have mercy toward all.

“Well?” Ser Lyonel chuckles.
“Well ser?” Dunk parrots, confused. The lord barks another laugh.
“Go on then, after her,” he smirks with a shooing motion. Dunk blushes a hearty red.
“Oh- uh no, no milord I should not,” he stutters out.
“Why ever the hell not?”
Duncan has no response beside more blushing and stuttering. Which it seems is response enough.
Ser Lyonel leans forward again, catching Dunk’s gaze from where he’d lowered it— a wild and delighted smile slowly dawning across his face. Dunk feels his blush reach his ears. I’ve been kissed before, he means to protest, but it sounds childish even in his mind.

Tim lifts his arms up - and holy jelly-limbs, Batman, was that an odd experience - and holds them a good few feet apart. “Yay big,” he slurs eloquently. “Kinda pink and purple, little bit of blue…” Suddenly, he swings an arm to grab Bruce’s bicep. His eyes are wide behind his mask as a realization hits him. “It was a bisexual flower, B.”
Or... Tim's smaller stature compared to the rest of his family results in him being carried a lot, it also results in them messing with him just for the fun of it

Until he saw her, a girl with same look in her eyes as him.
That cloying nothing that wracked his heart held a hold on hers too. Until it didn’t, until he had decided she was now his, something he would wait for her to mirror even if it meant dealing with the obstinate fools that thought her lesser.
He would make them all pay for every single slight, brushed shoulder, too long a gaze, and heaven forbid her tears too.
