Summary
All Stede’s wanted from the moment he met Edward was to be close to him – in any way and all the ways possible.
“I’ve never…” Stede gnaws his lip.
Edward squints. “Don’t you have two kids?”
“No, I don’t mean –!” He buries his face in his hands. “I’ve never with another..."
Realization seeps into Edward’s expression.
“With another man,” Stede finishes in a miserable whisper. Edward is silent and unreadable. Stede begs, “Say something.”
Inspiration dawns on Edward’s face as he rubs his chin. “This really brings out the artist in me.”

Summary
Stede stands on the warm sand at the beach, stripped of his luxurious coat and impractical shoes, his hair pushed off his face from where he'd slicked it back while using seawater to clean away the pigs blood. He breathes deeply and takes a moment to grieve the life he's about to leave behind for good.
Just a moment, and a moment only.
He closes his eyes against the warmth of the setting sun, and inhales the salty spray of water as a wave crashes on the shore; the ocean advancing and receding, beckoning him forward.
Calling him home.

Summary
“Now you’re—” Stede babbles, going absolutely pinkish. “You’re laughing again!”
Ed nods, still giggling. “I’m just—I’m sorry, it’s not because—”
“Am I doing something wrong?”
“Stede, darling,” Ed says, cupping Stede’s face. “Don’t be foolish. It’s because you’re doing something right.”
Or: Stede’s never laughed during sex before. Hell, he’s barely even smiled. So when Edward can’t stop giggling during their first time, he’s not really sure what to think.

Summary
Takes place after the third book.
Just when Simon's learned to accept he's going to spend the rest of his days as a Normal doing Normal things and a Normal job, in the most unexpected turn of events, he somehow gets his magic back.
Who was he kidding - being a dreadful mage was better than being a dreadful anything else.Except, it's not just him.
The dead spots are healing and Normals somehow gained access to magic - spells are running amok, people are casting phrases, songs unknowingly, and the whole foundation of Magic seems to be at risk of collapsing.
And if that wasn't enough, Simon is planning to propose.
