Summary
The Cloud Recesses Guest Lectures were held every three years for disciples between the ages of fifteen and eighteen. They had three purposes.
The first (and the reason it was hosted by the Lan) was to provide a shared baseline understanding of the core cultivation topics that underpinned every sect while not divulging clan-specific approaches.
The second was to create opportunities for friendships and alliances that would reduce the chance of war between the clans.
The third, and most important, was for the clans to replenish their bloodline by finding compatible mates with strong cultivation skills. In the last month of the lectures, challenges to test compatibility may be issued.
Wei Wuxian challenges Lan Wangji, sure that they are compatible mates. The Lan refuse to allow the Challenge.
They come to regret it.

Summary
When Ash starts drinking during his time with Kukui, he doesn't think about it, and he doesn't see the signs that this is a problem bigger than either of them are willing to admit.
Or, an exploration about how when kids leave home at 10 years old and are left unsupervised, they'll drink, and how sometimes it's easier to deal with life if you're drunk, and sometimes it's easier not to acknowledge the fact you're slowly turning into a functional alcoholic.

Summary
The turtles always manage to scavenge some leftover goodies from Valentine's Day. This year, Mikey brings home a huge box of bright red, heart-shaped lollipops. As if a lifetime supply of shitty lollipops was something anyone needed.
Obviously, Michelangelo couldn't get enough of them. Raph was surprised he hadn't rotted his teeth out yet the way he always had one drooping from his lips, making obnoxious sounds around it and leaving his hands perpetually sticky.
But the worst part was how damn red it stained his little brother's tongue.
