Summary
All Jackie wanted was a fun night out. But when Jeff Sadecki doesn't take the hint, Jackie decides to end him for good.
Jeff sputtered, “You think she’s better than me?!”
Jackie didn’t hesitate. “Of fucking course she is! There’s no comparison”, she made a show of looking down on his jeans for a second, ready to hit where she knew would hurt the most. “For starters? Her dick’s bigger.”
“And guess what? I don’t have to fake it with her.”

Summary
“What did you do?”
“...What?” Jackie whispered, quickly backing up against the wall of the shed. The door slammed behind Lottie, and Jackie felt her skin grow even colder. She wasn’t supposed to be here.
“It was supposed to be you.”
or, the wilderness made a different choice.

Summary
The snow still falls.
Winter still comes.
But this time...
The bear arrives early.
And it saves everything.
...
This is the last night before the fall. Doomcoming was always meant to be the end of something. Her friends will become monsters. Her friends will die. The Yellowjackets will be lost to the first snowfall and the snuffing out of the light as Jackie breaths her last breath out in the cold.
Let this be their salvation, let it be their feast or let it be their death, all of them. This would be kinder. Quicker than the starvation that has weakened their limbs and undone their muscles and wasted them away under their clothes. They are frail already, their cheekbones are sharp with hunger. They will not survive winter, not like this; not unless they do something terrible.
The living shall become monsters. The dead shall become ghosts. The wilderness will get its fill in screams and blood, one way or another.
Slowly. Slowly.
Forward Lottie goes.

Summary
A collection of moments of JackieTaylor.exe malfunctioning whenever Shauna Shipman gets hurt as they grow up together.
“I don’t like it when you cry. It makes my heart feel… weird. It hurts inside,” Jackie admits, pressing a hand to her chest, trying to ease the pain.
She takes Shauna’s hand gently—like she’s afraid Shauna might shatter—and does the thing she’s seen Deb Shipman do a hundred times: kiss it better.
