Katsuki thinks soulmates are a scam, but his college application says find one soon or kiss your future goodbye.
As if that isn’t bad enough, his mom wins a fansign with the nation’s beloved sweetheart idol, Todoroki Shouto; who won’t shut up on camera about wanting to meet his soulmate.
So Katsuki gets dragged along against his will, already convinced the universe is fucking with him on purpose.

Shouto knows what goes on in the castle. He’s heard the maids giggling about sir Bakugou’s manhood, and he catches the little glances they throw his way, even if Bakugou himself seems entirely unconcerned with them, and—
And it hurts his chest, for some stupid, childish omega reason.
“Do you need a gift?” he asks. “To convince you to come back?”
“From you?” Bakugou asks. “I’d take anything, pretty prince.”
“Um,” Shouto says. “Close your eyes first.”
Or: Omega prince Shouto barters with all he has to keep his favorite knight by his side.

“Your eyes are silver,” Shouto said, simply. “And I’m guessing mine are gold.”
The omega bares his teeth. He only comes up to just past Shouto’s shoulders, as most people do, but the alpha gets the feeling that his aura normally makes him seem taller than he actually is. “And what of it, fucker?” His voice is gruff and cruel.
“Normally, that’d mean we’re a fated pair.” he responds, bluntly, wondering if his omega knows a kinder tone.
He doesn’t. “Oh yeah, asshole?”
“Uh… yeah.”
Todoroki Shouto doesn’t know when exactly it happens or why, because he’s high off the adrenaline of the moment at that point, but then he and his omega are on the floor engaged in a fist fight that would go down in UA history.
Yeah. Fated Pairs are normally unconventional.
