    Izuku has plans for everything.

    He plans out what to say to the cashier when ordering coffee, he plans out his homework before even opening his textbook. He has a whole ten-year plan for how he’s going to get into UA’s hero course and get his hero license fully quirkless. He plans for every wild, unlikely scenario he can think of because his anxiety gets so bad if he doesn’t go through every possible outcome, every way his life could landslide into disaster–– but Izuku never planned for this.

    For once, he doesn’t have a plan and he doesn’t have time to think of one. All he can see is Yagi-san’s lined, kind face looking resigned as he stares down the villain in his shop. Yagi-san, who is the closest thing to a father figure Izuku has ever had.

    Izuku doesn’t think. He just moves.

    (Or: Izuku saves the number one hero, gets a hero license way earlier than anyone wanted, realizes that maybe hero society isn’t as great as he thought it was, and everything just kind of falls apart from there.)

    Growing up with a useless Quirk is almost as bad as growing up without one at all, and his is one of the most useless Quirks he's ever heard of. Being able to see with his eyes closed might not make for a great hero, but Izuku Midoriya doesn't let that get in the way of his dream. After a chance encounter with All Might himself, he has the opportunity to make his dream a reality. With One For All, he finally has a Quirk he can use to save lives, but his physical strength isn't the only thing One For All enhanced; Izuku's useless Quirk is getting stronger too. As if mastering one powerful Quirk wasn't hard enough, Izuku now has to deal with his new-and-improved previously-useless Quirk as well, and fast. The League of Villains isn't going to wait around for him to be ready after all.

    It's not everyday you hear your childhood bully tell another kid to take a swan dive off a roof, well lucky for Denki Kaminari - who's just been told to jump off of U.A.'s roof - Izuku Midoriya won't put up with it. When it was him, it was fine. After all, Izuku could handle the violent way Katsuki Bakugo treated him, but not Denki. Never Denki.

    So, without thinking, Izuku goes up to Katsuki with glowing yellow eyes, and then proceeds to slam his head into a wall with the help of One For All. Now, it was a good plan, even if Izuku hadn't actually thought of it. What wasn't a good plan, was Shota Aizawa and Hizashi Yamada walking into the classroom to witness Izuku using his teachers quirk against his childhood bully.

    Inko Midoriya had a lot of explaining to do.

    Midoriya Izuku is born with eyes that see past what normal people can.

    He can see spirits.

    At first, no one believes him, but he manages to show his friends for a few moments before passing out and being rushed to the hospital for quirk overuse.

    Now, he's an outcast at school, the demon boy who talks to spirits and is friends with demons. It seems like only he can see them, interact with them, and help them, but Izuku wants nothing more than to be a hero, and he's going to do whatever it takes to get there.
