Petunia didn’t even like the boy. But it was like it was with Lily—Petunia hadn’t liked Lily, either, but Lily was her sister. Harry was her nephew. She didn’t like them, but god forbid that anyone do anything to either of them. She hadn’t liked the magical world, and she liked it less now, but here was the thing about it all: she didn’t have to. Summary
The past, the present, the future. Silly terms, Death thinks. As if Time can be split into "Has Happened" and "Is Yet to Happen." Death, in her role as the ultimate Inevitability, knows that all Time exists simultaneously, and that only the Souls which she was responsible for collecting experienced it as a linear path from past to future.

When Harry was six years old, he jumped off the roof of a two-story building, broke his head open on the sidewalk, and died. Then he stood back up, as he had done for the last seven deaths before that one.
