Giyuu Tomioka had always known he was attractive.
It wasn't vanity, just simple observation. People stared. They always had. Even as a child, he'd noticed the way eyes followed him, the way conversations ended when he entered a room. His sister had laughed about it, called him "her beautiful little brother" with affectionate teasing.

“What the hell are you doing, Tomioka?” He grits out, trying to stop his voice from quivering. He stands, waiting for a response. The girl purses her glossy lips, eyes flitting up from the ground to look directly at him.
“It’s cold out.” Tomioka says in that airy, passive tone; like nothing in the world matters except her own sorrow.
Brilliant.
His mouth is open to respond when Kanroji speaks up, distracting him momentarily. Obanai allows Tomioka to smooth out the fabric around his shoulders, and he’ll admit that maybe her oversized, especially on him, haori is really warm. Whatever.
