Summary
Finally, the Emerald City is in reach, mere minutes away. Dorothy runs to it as if it were a beacon of light out at sea, and then something overcomes her, some intoxicating scent which puts her to sleep— or at least that’s what it was meant to be— and suddenly she finds herself collapsed, unconscious, dying. Fiyero of course, is able to beg Elphaba to save her, and that she does.
Now, Dorothy must grapple with being one of the Wizard’s new puppets. She wishes to stand up for the right thing as the injustices of Oz are revealed to her, but can she?
OR
What if Dorothy died in the Poppy field and was revived by Elphaba in the form of a ball-jointed doll, soon to be used as another puppet for the Emerald City?
