Summary
“I’m in love with Satoru,” Suguru says again.
“So you’ve said,” Shoko says, sounding wearier than she has any right to be. “You want the good news or the bad news?” Suguru opens his mouth to answer, but Shoko apparently deems the answer unnecessary as she continues. “The good news is I’ve figured out what’s wrong with you, the bad news is that you probably won’t like it.”
Suguru stares at Shoko, hoping he doesn’t have to vocalize his obvious question.
“Whatever’s blocking your cursed energy also has the ability to stop you from saying certain things—specifically, lies,” she clarifies. “Basically, your body is forcing you to tell only the truth for the time being.” She shrugs. “If you try to resist, well. You know what happens.”
Suguru continues staring at Shoko.
“So it’s true, then?” he says slowly. “I’m in love with Satoru?”

“Yeah! Oh, my name is Gojo Satoru, by the way.” He hides the hurt behind his teeth, his grin wide and friendly. He thought he’d only have to introduce himself once to someone he called his best friend. It’s strange to repeat words from more than a decade ago to the same person. “You can call me Satoru.” He hopes he calls him Satoru.
“I’m Geto,” he says back. You were Suguru to me, Gojo thinks. “Nice to meet you, Satoru.”
“Nice to meet you, too.” He leans against the wall beside him, tries to look nonchalant as he does. “So, do you come here often?”
Geto thinks Gojo is just a lonely guy who wants friends. Gojo just wants to know if he remembers him, even just a little bit.

Summary
Rationally, Kokichi knows that the first thing he needs to do is follow through with his plan to contact Satoru Gojo. He knows he needs to go and talk to Utahime and try to explain his side of the story: how he took the risk of cooperating with the cursed spirits in order to gain the healthy body he now possesses. He knows he will need to bear the brunt of his classmates’ anger and disappointment and confusion all the while.
But damn it, the only thing Kokichi wants to do is go and find Miwa.
