Summary
In which the ‘favor’ Kamala requests of Bruce at the end of the Marvel Avengers game entails them taking a pitstop at some rundown little diner in Missouri for breakfast before returning Kamala home in Jersey. Summary
“Viktor, I don't understand what I'm doing wrong! I water it every single morning-- I’ve never missed a day, never. I think it needs a bigger pot, or something,” Jayce grumbled, an open hand gesturing with defeat toward the artificial peperomia on the tabletop nearest to him.
“Erm, Jayce… you know that’s a fake plant, right? It is made of plastic.”
“What?!”
In which Jayce has been watering a fake plant in their shared laboratory for the past half a year and Viktor slowly catches on. Jayce decides to name the plant, claiming they’ve adopted it and must raise it together. Far too attached to the piece of interior decor, Jayce picks up a few textbooks on botany, seeking to cure it’s blatant lack of growth. Viktor has to either break the news that their dear peperomia albovittata is fake… or venture to the undercity to purchase him a replacement.

Summary
Set a few years into Viktor's apprenticeship with Heimerdinger, it’s early evening and the two are working together on a project to better the lives of those in the Undercity. Watching Viktor work, Heimerdinger reflects on the past and compares Viktor's work ethic to an old partner of his.
Singed.
Rambling on, Heimerdinger uplifts the image of Singed in a positive light, insisting Viktor's diligence is reminiscent of the man’s. Viktor does not take kindly to that. Mentally reflecting on Singed’s cavern and Rio's suffering, the comparison invokes a panic attack in the young inventor.
He was nothing like Singed.

Summary
Under the stars, Jayce and Viktor lay apart by just a few feet, their backs flat against the grassy field. They had finally caught a moment of downtime after a busy week of obligations. Since Viktor’s prognosis turned diagnosis, he was instructed to get some fresh air - an order he didn’t plan to listen to. He was only laying there because Jayce dragged him outside from the laboratory.
The two were relaxing in a comfortable silence, the distant chatter of Piltovan academic student’s filling the void. With his eyes closed, Jayce listened to the comforting rhythm of Viktor’s breathing beside him. In and out, a pause, in and out. When suddenly, Viktor stops breathing. Or, so Jayce thought.
One misunderstanding later, Jayce and Viktor proceed to have a conversation about what they mean to each other, and come to a bit of closure regarding their current “quandary.”
