All prompted by a convo with ainsalaco that inspired me just a little too much.

Summary
Eddie uses his song to bring the crew of a passing ship to their end, his song doesn't reach them all and he goes to investigate.

Steve takes a step closer and squats down, hand reaching out. “Can I touch your tail?" Eddie glares at him, watching as he pulls his hand back at the last moment and shakes his head, eyes never leaving his thick tail. "Wait no! Sorry! That was rude of me wasn't it?" Steve's skin turns an appealing shade of pink as he pulls his hand back.
Eddie pushes forward, catching that hand, careful to keep his claws in. Steve’s eyes widen, mouth dropping open in a gasp, the pulse under Eddie’s fingertips pumping faster. Eddie pulls him closer, Steve’s hand leaving the wheel as he drops to his knees, eyes still wide as his hand brushes over smooth damp scales. Eddie directs his movements, starting at his hip and pushing his hand down his flank, the pulse under his thumb relaxing a fraction. Steve goes from nervous to excited.

Summary
Eddie would be a dirty liar if he said that the first time he saw him playing with his twins in his front yard, he didn’t forget about his own name for a moment.
Two four year old girls, one of them with hair and soul made of fire, and the other one quieter, with a big, gentle smile and a head full of auburn curls.
Two lovely tiny munchkins having a tea party with his father, sitting at the cutest teeny-tiniest Frozen themed plastic set of table and chairs Eddie had ever seen. The dad was pouring imaginary tea into their plastic cups, the curly haired one graciously gesturing with her hands while she sing-sang how much fun she was having and how delicious the tea was.
When the dad spotted Eddie, standing in his front yard, fully staring, Eddie’s face became so red so fast, that even from many feet away, he was sure that the whole family could notice.

Or Eddie sees his neighbour with his kids and falls for him immediately.

Summary
Vecna is dead. They’re sure of it this time. Steve knows it as the last particles of the Upside Down float away up into the air, soon to be forgotten except for the people touched by it. The only problem is that when all of his friends start cheering and hugging him, it sounds a little like he’s underwater. He’s just too happy to do anything about it.

After they beat Vecna for the last time, Steve starts to realize something isn't right. Robin and Eddie try to help him through it.TLDR; Steve realizes he's losing his hearing and his friends support him.
