Summary
This world was a place where a majority of the population got a supernatural power labeled a "quirk." However, people weren't allowed to use said quirks if they didn't have a license. It seemed reasonable enough, was Dazai's first thought. Until he found out you had to be a hero to have a license. What utter stupidity, no wonder the crime rates for Illegal Quirk Usage were at an all time high.
Back to why he was currently in an interview. He figured that a) he needed some money to comfortably live (He could resort to the life of crime, but was that Odasaku wanted?) and b) to know more about the law enforcement, he had to be one of them. So he applied to a well-known agency in Kyushu. It didn't hold a torch to the Armed Detective Agency (Dazai was not biased) but it was better than nothing.
