You need…” He leaves the towel on Henry’s chest and runs his fingers through his admittedly shaggy hair. “…a haircut. And a shave.” His hand slides down to cup his cheek, his thumb resting on his bottom lip. The cold water lingers, but Henry’s face still burns hot under his touch.

The eyes of God turn to him, he can feel it through the heavens, through the blue sky dotted with flimsy white clouds, through the firmament and down onto him, half a Lord and still a child according to everyone close to him. But how easy. How simple this all is. Nothing this good can be a violation of anything.
