Mafia/Crimeboss AU in which Lan Wanji is the heir and second in command to the Lans, one of the most powerful crime groups in the world. His husband, Wei Wuxian, knows about his crime boss life but is not a part of it. WWX is about to find out intimately what the dangers are of loving and being loved by a crime boss when he is kidnapped for ransom and tortured. Even after being saved, he has a long and tough recovery, but he has LWJ to care for him through it.
This is a pretty heavy fic with graphic depictions of violence and torture so read the tags and proceed with caution!
