Sometimes, after they were both laid out for the night, high and feeling too fluid to move a limb, hands bloody and chests rising in long, steady pulls, Eddie remembers the look in Steve's eyes at the boat house. The way his tongue flicked out across his lips as Eddie dug the bottle shards just a little too hard into the skin of his neck. The droop in his lids. The way his eyes flicked down to Eddie's own mouth.
It wasn't just that he could take it. It's that he really fucking wanted to.

“Everyone has secrets.” Eddie tugged one of his arms out from under his head and stretched it out, so it was behind Steve. The heat of his skin so, so close to Steve's lower back.
“I feel like you don’t.”
His arm shifted. Just a little. Not any closer, maybe? “Just because I blurt things out to you doesn’t mean they aren’t secrets from everyone else.”
“Oh.”
“Oh?”
“I, well,” Steve closed his eyes, “I can’t stop thinking about what you said. About being rough during sex.”
Eddie stilled. Everything about his body stopped moving for just a second. “That’s your secret, sweetheart?”
“It doesn’t sound like one, does it?” Steve shook his head. He couldn't think of anything else.

Dean holds his hands up and shakes his head. “Shit, man, I swear I’m not trying to—”
Castiel has had enough, though, so he flicks his wrist and pushes Dean over one of the tombstones and down to the ground. Dean falls with a grunt and tries to stand up quickly, but Castiel keeps him pinned to the ground with a raise of his eyebrow.
“I am the guardian of this cemetery,” he states when he stops and looks down on the struggling man. “I will not be made a fool of, especially not by someone like you.”- Language:
