Summary
Midoriya Izuku, slowly accepting that he won’t ever be able to become a hero, is struggling to decide what to do with his life. After being told by the number one hero that he will never be able to be a hero without a quirk, Izuku decides to take his former best friend Bakugou’s advice and jumps off a roof. He is swiftly caught by a group of engineering students who inspire Izuku to take another approach to becoming a hero.
Bakugou Katsuki will admit he went too far by telling Deku to jump off a roof - even before he was forced to watch his childhood friend do just as he said. Deku gets caught, though, but now Katsuki has to learn to live with the resulting guilt, the fear that Deku might try something like that again, and his pride holding him from confronting Deku and apologising.
The two of them both end up in UA together, making it harder for Izuku to stay away from Bakugou, every confrontation with him a painful reminder of middle school.
Likewise, Katsuki is forced to watch Deku succeed on a different path with his new friends. It shouldn't piss him off as much as it does.

Summary
Living in a world where 80% of the population have a quirk, and 70% have a connection to their soulmate(s), Izuku has neither and he’s okay about it. Mostly. To him, soulmates just sound like bad news, so it's just as well he can’t communicate with them anyway. For Izuku, his only goal is to be a hero, and maybe with All Might’s quirk, he can be.
Katsuki, try as he might to hide it, is excited to talk to his soulmate. He’s surrounded by his “friends” in his middle school who follow him for his quirk and social status, but he feels no connection to them. His soulmate is meant to be his perfect match, someone who gets him. Someone who’ll also have a strong quirk and will be a pro-hero alongside him. Katsuki couldn’t help but long to be connected to them already– if only they would fucking respond to him.

Summary
Midoriya Izuku did not realise he’d been wearing rose-tinted glasses for most of his life until the day he finally took them off. It was only after their fight at Ground Beta that every illusion he had about his relationship with Bakugou Katsuki crumbled beneath his feet, leaving only the cold, harsh truth behind:
Bakugou may have been his childhood friend first, but he was his bully for much longer.
Naturally, everything changed after that. The nickname ‘Kacchan’ became a distant memory, just a reminder of everything that Bakugou had ever done to him, and Izuku was finally ready to move on. He even managed to convince himself that he didn’t care that Bakugou never apologised. That he was fine.
And then he got hit by a quirk which bound him to Bakugou, and suddenly things got a whole lot more complicated.

Katsuki and Deku get stuck under a collapsed building on a mission with Aizawa; it goes a lot more different than either of them expected.
