Wonderful story. Completed piece (even if it feels... not unfinished but lacking something....)[ETA: Upon second reading, I realized that since the topic of the fic is about selfishness (hence the title) as a non-linear narrative it's complete, but since my brain tends to simultaneously patch things in chronological order... when Kenshin says that it's not just about the kimono and simply ends there... it feels unfinished, but it's really not. It's simply unspoken.]
