Summary
The people here were…friendly, for the most part. Heather couldn't help but think that the townsfolk still couldn't believe that she was the long lost daughter of the chief. It's not that they despised or mistreated her in the week she's been on the isle, not that they got the chance to anyways with Dagur's constant surveillance, but she hasn't quite earned her trust among them, either.
The people did not trust them, not the wayward son nor the unknown daughter. Dagur kept her introduction brief before hurrying the pair back inside the chief's manor.

Summary
While living on Dragon’s Edge with the Riders, Hiccup hits his head on a regular mission. He wakes up, an amnesiac, with no memories from the past three years, not since the week before he shot down Toothless.
To him, the Riders are nothing more than childhood bullies, the war with the dragons is still ongoing, and as far as he knows, he should still have two legs.
To the Riders, Hiccup is their leader and best friend, lost unless they can bring him back.

Surrounded by people who speak a language he doesn't understand far before his time, Jack must learn to speak the language of Vikings, despite his strange appearance and unique nature, with his staff and the Winds by his side. He'll grow to love dragons, and maybe grow to love more than that.
...He'll need to start searching for Pitch Black soon, though.
Starts a few months before Race to the Edge, and will eventually start getting into RttE territory.

Wanting the Dragon Eye, and a part of him wanting revenge for Viggo's death, Hiccup leads an attack on what's left of Krogan and Johann's base: an attack born of recklessness and doomed to fail. Hiccup doesn't blame his friends for leaving him behind for their own survival. They left him for dead, and death would have been the better outcome. Now, Hiccup is captured by Krogan and Johann, and being nursed back to health by his constantly bickering enemies to be used against those he loves.
