The problem is… well, some people wouldn’t see it as a problem. With so many TDYs , it’s actually kind of convenient. The walls of the barracks aren’t soundproofed, and when sleeping on a jet with a minimum of five other people, privacy may as well be a pipe dream.
Clint didn’t grow up with a lot of privacy. When one spends any amount of time working with a traveling show, things start to come to light. Shocking things, for young eyes, at least. Like what a woman’s body looks like in just a leotard. And without one. What sex sounds like, and what it looks like in silhouette. How people give blowjobs and eat each other out. He knows how to tie a noose. And that the noise of a stool falling over doesn’t always mean an accidental miss in the elephant trainer’s tent.
Clint did grow up with a sense of propriety. Maybe something about being part of a dangerous weapons act instead of something for pure entertainment scared some sense into him. It’s not like he’s especially moral, or, god forbid, religious. He’s a boy, for fuck’s sake. He likes black coffee and beer and touching himself.
But that last one. That’s the problem. Or, rather, the lack of it.
