“Yes,” Belle chokes out, hoping she looks more scandalized than guilty. “Of course! I’ve just been wearing them as sleep shorts!” Them being the boxers she'd stolen from his laundry hamper.
“Oh yeah?” Wise’s grin quirks up at the corner as he holds himself above her on the couch. “Prove it, then. Show me the waistband of your undies.”
“Wow, asking your own sister to prove she’s wearing underwear? Creep behavior!” Belle scoffs, but her heart is jackhammering in her chest loud enough that she’s certain they can hear it out on Sixth Street.
“First of all, you’re the one rifling through my dirty laundry like a raccoon,” Wise points out, sitting back so he’s not looming over her anymore. “Second of all, I thought you wanted to be my brother.”
Belle's got a very normal, totally chill thing for Wise calling her 'little bro' — what better way to get him thinking of her as a boy than to steal his clothes? And his toiletries? And maybe try to seduce him a bit? The weirdest part is that it works...
