Two years later, Camelot remains in ruins. Trapped amongst the rubble is one Richard M. Nixon.
This fic has five chapters and an epilogue, followed by a postscript.
This fic was hugely inspired by the music video and lyrics of the Japanese-language song "Ham" by the Japanese band ZUTOMAYO. It is recommended that you refrain from checking out the song until this series has been completed, as knowledge of the song, its music video and its lyrics will inevitably spoil the story of this fanfic to a significant degree.)

He's overcome his past and has become star architect to the rich, media darling, and idol to countless fans. He's famous, wealthy, glamorous. He also is a devoted husband and adoptive father, friend, and benefactor.
Wangji... not so much. He's conscientious in his familial duties, though he's cut his ties with the Lans' corporate empire and reset his life.
But the past has a habit of colouring the present, and the probability of paths crossing is greater if one moves in overlapping circles. Both of them have secrets...Series

As he fell, he saw a grand aerial view of the Battle of Clemency. A ravaging storm of Cybertronian bodies and fluid and debris. The grand ugliness of it all. He raised his head and looked straight ahead of him. He saw the sunrise of Clemency reduced to a thin stack of hues. Above, the empty grey sky of sun-devoid atmosphere; below, absolute mayhem.
How ironic is it that the most gorgeous view Fulcrum had ever seen in his relatively short life was then, from this position at halfway down?
'Primus, what a short life', he thought. And then, of all things, 'I never even decided on a favorite color.'
He stared into that stacked streamline of a horizon until he picked out something. Something bright and happy and opposite to the drab life that he lived, a tiny spark in a pan that will be extinguished in a field of dirt. Magenta. Fuschia. Carmine. Salmonberry. The dark residue of dried energon. That's it. At least now he knew.
He hit the ground with the color behind his opitcs, a taste of something foreign and sweet and tart deep within his throat.
