"Viktor, what the hell?” The woman under her mouth spasmed when Mel bit down harder, her pleasure spilling into Mel’s mouth with the force of a flood. Mel swallowed a last mouthful before letting her body drop to the bed.
She’d either survive another meal or bleed to death while she dealt with this.
Mel turned around to find Viktor covered in blood, his white shirt soaked, sticking to his chest, dripping down her carpet. She quirked an eyebrow in his direction. Even when she was aware of her own insatiable hunger, as a born vampire she had better control over her deadly instincts, something her darling lovers were still struggling years after turned.

Half muffled by a yawn, he turns his face to Jayce, “Mel’s, obviously.”
Jayce lifts his head and glances back, where Mel is sleeping diagonally, taking up a good portion of the bed. An amused chuckle leaves Viktor as he takes in Jayce’s surprised face.
“Were you expecting someone else?”
