Summary
This is a story about Teala as she travels with her companions, and what I think happens to them after Baldur's Gate 3's Early Access after they have defeated the githyanki patrol next to Waukeen's Rest. Incidentally, this story happens a bit differently than what happens in the game, so you could say this is an alternate canon.
This story is dedicated to Mmogurl, one of my favourite video content creators, who is one of my favourite fanfiction writers and authors, also. She and Baldur's Gate 3 inspired me to write this story.
(This is my first printing with the exception of printing on another website as well. Comments are welcome. Thank you.) -

Summary
“But you didn’t kill me that night,” he said. “Why?”
“Because, darling. You were ever so resistant to my advances, if you recall.” Astarion huffed a humourless laugh. “I was rather put off, at the time. But now…”
He didn’t need to finish. Dev knew: if he had gone with Astarion that night, he wouldn’t be alive today.***
Deveryll met Astarion once before in a tavern, and turned down his advances. Now months later, they stumble across each other again, both infected with illithid tadpoles.

Summary
Decades pass. Without fanfare, without trouble, without intrigue. Decades of the same routines. The vicious victim. The sweet songbird in a shrinking silver cage. Astarion and Tav spend those decades together, a closeness wrought out of spare moments caught in a web, inseparable in the face of their common enemies. They have each other, and that’s enough.
It must be enough.“You give me something to care for, and that’s worth the peril.”

Summary
There's a cave in the Underdark where not even the most fearless of drow wish to enter. Mothers whisper to their children about that cave, warning them not to venture too close to its mouth. "Yellow-eyed beasts live there," they'd say. "Beasts with the appearance and manner of drow, but don't let their faces deceive you - they're the servants of Vecna, the Whispered One." They tell stories of a young drow who cannot speak, the last of her tribe. The yellow spider. "She's as silent as the wind, as invisible as a shadow. If you ever manage to catch a glimpse of her amber eyes, the last thing you'll see is a bolt of red light, and your soul will part with this world in half a heartbeat."
Most stories for children, of course, are fictitious. But, what most drow mothers don't know is that Sbat'stra Arkentyl is very much alive, and they're also very much tired of said stories. After all, they've got an Illithid parasite to deal with, and six silly idiots to babysit. -

Summary
Scratch barked and then tilted his head, to see if barking did anything. Gale pulled down his nightgown around his muddy thighs and said ‘My apol-’ He coughed wetly and dripping lumps of purple sprayed across his front. ‘Sorry,’ he managed. ‘None of that was very dignified. My sincerest apologies about your necklace. I know it meant a lot to you.’ He drank messily, urgently, straight from a jug.
((the necklace? The necklace?!)) Ileleste’s hands shook as he signed. ((let me look at your arm!))
‘Why?’ He wiped his beard down cleanly and precisely with an embroidered handkerchief. A drop of water ran down his chest, past the scars of the orb and soaked into his nightgown. It was still white in places, but mostly it was red, brown and yellow; stuck stiffly to his shaking knees. ‘Never better.’
...
The Orb is worse. Gale learns that the mute silk-farming drow he’s travelling with has knowledge of ancient Netherese magic but his attempt at finding a way for them to communicate properly fails. At every trance the drow's past creeps alongside him, becoming realer. The wreckage of Netheril binds them both. Can they escape? Will it be worth it?

Summary
"The Yathtallar’s coughs were just as persistent as they were cruel. Like gravel churning in the base of her chest, or glass shards swishing in the back of her throat, each heave seemed to rattle her more deeply than the last. Ronvyn held her steady as best she could, arms wrapped tight around the barrel of her ribs, the sound of her breath hitching in short, ragged bursts. Whatever Grand Mistress Enya’tha intended to achieve at tonight’s dinner, her strategy had clearly backfired."
aka-- a young priestess ruminates on the fraught relationship between her and her Yathtallar when she's tasked with saving her from poison.

Summary
Since the fall of the NetherBrain, redeemed Dark Urge Artemisia has struggled to find a permanent home alongside her lover Vampire Spawn Astarion. It seems everywhere they look, there are reminders of the unholy lives they once lived, even as they try and make amends. But Artemisia has an idea; something that she hopes can at least help Astarion and relieve him of his curse so he can walk in the sun and be seen as a monster no more — if only she can understand how to make this magic work.
And luckily, they've just been invited to Candlekeep's Great-Library, a bastion of magical knowledge, where Artemisia will aid its researchers in understanding Bhaalspawn and, ideally, find out a thing or two about how to execute her plan.

Summary
The past and the present are fighting for the Dark Urge's soul. The lure of the past in all its bloody glory and the present, a new beginning without the shadow of a pre-definite destiny. Both equally frightening. What shall the Chosen of Bhaal pick, to complete his purpose as the Dark Urge or choose a new life where he is his own master?

Summary
The Netherbrain is defeated, and all of his companions have something to return to. With Bhaal’s blood purged from his veins and Jergal granting him a second chance at life, the Druid is forced to grapple with an existential crisis, plagued by phantom memories and emotions long kept under lock and key.
Unfortunately, Astarion is a master lock-picker — and doesn’t leave well enough alone.OR
A post-canon adventuring story focused on the relationship between two men reckoning with their own traumas. Too bad the world doesn’t pause just because the BBEG is defeated.
Separate warning tags are provided at the top of each chapter when relevant.

Summary
When he wakes up, he's not himself. Not that he can remember what being 'himself' even means. All he has is a pounding headache and a name, 'The Dark Urge'.
Oh, and memories of the real world and over 500 plus hours of playtime in Baldur's Gate 3.
Now he's stuck inside the game, with no idea how he got there or what the fuck is going on. And very quickly, he'll realise that the real world of Faerun is nothing like the game. Shit hurts, there's no maps, fast travel, or save scumming. And people are far more complicated than simple video game characters.
If he can keep himself alive and make it through this, perhaps there's something waiting for him in Faerun, a life he can build for himself. But the urge is just as real as everything else, and it's out for blood.
All he wants is to find his freedom before the game kills him or the urge overtakes him.

Months after the fall of the Absolute, Baldur’s Gate picks up its pieces. During this harsh winter, Rolan observes the comings and goings of the heroine who both saved the city and turned it into rubble, the drow’s favorite pastime becoming his punishment.
Rolan/Tav dynamic heavily inspired by Lorelai/Luke (Gilmore Girls) and CC/Niles (The Nanny). Take that as you will.
