This story is a rewrite and reimagining of Howl’s Moving Castle. It follows the spirit of the original film while taking creative liberties with character dynamics, emotional arcs, and certain plot details. I have added some slight divergences, expanded scenes, and a more intimate exploration of domestic life, chosen family, and soft healing.
I’ve been wanting to write this for a long time as Howl’s is my favorite movie of all time.
