“Oh, don’t be like that.” Pilot Vox stepped back slightly, just enough to feign compliance. But the glint in his eyes betrayed him — he was playing, circling, waiting for the perfect moment to pounce. “Admit it — you’re at least a little turned on by me. By us.”
Vox refused to dignify that with a response.
