Summary
Set 10 years after the end of the TV series, the story features the Planeteers undergoing the most brutal trial of their lives. When the Planeteers' rings stopped working, the young heroes discovered why: Gaia has abandoned them. The spirit of the Earth was gone, nowhere to be found. And the Planeteers had no choice but to move on with their lives. But when a mysterious meteor plummets to Earth, and gives an old adversary the chance to return in a big way, the Planeteers are forced together once again. And they soon discover that Gaia might not be done with them just yet...

Memories of what was, and what used to be. Another lazy day like this, a lifetime ago, of wine and burgers, of rivers and someone else, a woman, shy and uncertain, stripping down before him and wading through the water despite her obvious nerves.
His hands, splayed wide and firm on her thighs as he’d carried her weight, just as it always was and should have been... but it didn’t work out that way, and now his arms are empty, and his hands grasp nothing but air.
